Chapter 2 The Body
Forsake not the assembly of believers. Rituals will not
bring grace. Grace comes from the life of the Holy
Spirit within you. The Holy Spirit is reproducing Christ
in your life once you've ask him to enter your
heart. Jesus came to abolish religion. Religion has
birthed wars, built enormous denominations and
churches, while failing to feed the poor. Religion tells
single moms they are in the wrong, but in the word
of God the religious people are called harlots. Religion
speaks grace, but fails to show it, only ridiculing
and torturing Gods followers like John the Baptist,
Isaiah, and all the original disciples of Christ.
Religion never rescues the lost, just controls the
emotions of the followers. Religion chains up the
word of God in unbreakable locks, putting all to anger,
while confusing the wise.
The outward display of perfection can be mastered
with ease, while the inward soul is where your
Christian lifestyle shows. Attending church on Sunday,
then taking the weekend to get wasted, to perform
fornication. This displays what God's enemy is so
viciously working toward on earth in his limited
time. People spend their whole life in
building their castle in the sand. The Holy Spirit
aids in self-control building a strong tower within you
to dominate weakness. The church should function in
grace, not to display perfection, but to aid the broken
hearted. There is no need for Christians to hide
their failure of sin, because we do not depend on
ourselves, but only on Christ. When you oppose
Gods plan, God is jealous in saving your doomed soul.
This is why Jesus hated religion, in the ones who
bragged about keeping the law with complete
understanding. Jesus called these people fools.
The enemy perverts the word of God, while laziness
stops us from devoting our time in the word.
People will always create new creeds as part of the
enemies plan to divide denominations and
conquer the founding formation of the one true church.
Jesus desires the best in your life, besides just
following some religious rules. Love the church,
and the word of God, which will annihilate sin.
If Jesus were to appear at your church, would he be
welcomed in? Religious men called Jesus a glutton and
drunkard. The son of God never evoked
self-righteousness as to be totally correct in oneself or
morally superior. Christ and religion are totally on
opposite ends of the spectrum, never to set
denominational faiths. Jesus consists of the work
of God to heal all, while religion is a manmade enemy
based infecting denominations on working
to divide the one true church. Jesus has completed all
works, making you see grace is what sets us free.
Religion teaches to work harder and faster staying
blind in bondage. Religion has man searching for
God, missing Christ in search to love all men.
Salvation is freely yours; forgiveness by grace is a gift.
Heavens entry in the afterlife is not based on a
person's merits, but obedience in Christ alone.
Grace took away all separation we deserved, by the
blood of Jesus on the cross. Christ hung on the cross in
agony as he yelled out Father, forgive them for
they know not what they do. Lk 23:34
Christ was the final sacrifice of sin on the cross for you.
Christ took your sins and buried them in His tomb,
allowing all in the present world to accept salvation.
Religion is hated, Christ said it is finished Jn 19:30.
Romans 4:5 (KJV)
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him
that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for
righteousness. God gave the law to be holy and
righteous, but cannot make the believer holy nor
righteous. The law is the old covenant, and we now
live in a new covenant of agreement with God
through Jesus Christ. People attend church feeling
guilt, condemned, and shameful from allowing
condemnation coming over them. Jesus did all you will
ever need done to desire the righteousness of God
by faith. Our task as believers is to only believe Christ
paid the debt for our sins. Your righteousness is
based on not what you have done, but what Jesus has
already completed.
Failure in doing right, does not undo your
unrighteousness with God. Being perfect does not
cause righteousness. Christ called us righteous when
we were ungodly, without our works.
Paul taught the same grace his followers ask is it right
to continue in sin?
Romans 6:1-2 (KJV)
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin,
that grace may abound?
2 God forbid…
Absolutely not. Once the believer understands how
much God loves them, they will not continue in sin.
Before God came to live inside you, you lived in sin.
Now as a believer with the Holy Spirit living inside
you, there is no agreement with your decision to sin.
The Holy Spirit is working inside you to make you
live with authority and self-control, turning away from
sin. When we sin, the Holy Spirit reminds us we
are the righteousness of God, and we learn to start
doing right. Sin will not undo your righteousness,
but will complicate your life. Your decision to sin
always has unexpected natural consequences.
God wants us to keep away from the natural
consequences of sin, by living the blessed life,
believing for Gods best. People do not go to hell
because of sin. Christ paid for sin on the cross by
washing the believers past, presence, and future sins
once we call on Christ and ask Him to dwell within
us. Hell is for anyone rejecting the payment for their
sins by the blood of Jesus. Sin is not the issue; the
issue is accepting or rejecting Jesus. What is your
decision on Jesus that stepped in and gave his life
and favor for you to not live a life in misery? Satan has
a plan to deceive many by making people think
they can work towards paying a debt in order to stay
out of sin. The punishment of sin is to be eternally
separated from God. Jesus is the only one who can
pay this sin debt. God gave us a conscience to
know sin. The enemy capitalizes on this knowledge to
make us walk in shame and worry for these sins.
Instead praise and worship God for what he has done
in your life through Christ. Sin is not made for the
believer. God is only for us, never against us. Sin is of
the past, but now with the Holy Spirit within you,
He helps you to sin no more. Satan attacks your
righteousness by being the accuser of the
brethren. The believer states he is the righteousness
in Christ, so Satan comes against the believer
accusing them of their past sins. Revelation 12:10 (KJV)
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is
come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of
our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night.
As a believer in Christ we have authority to talk back to
the devil when we are accused. Jesus paid the full
price to give us this authority, as we work on getting
sin removed from our lives. This is a free gift; all
we have to do is ask Jesus to enter our heart and invite
the Holy Spirit to live within you. As a believer you
have an abundance of undeserved favor from Christ's blessings.
Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV)
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of
every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou
eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
A covenant is a pledge, vow, and promise to carry out
terms of an agreement. The agreement is to allow
the blessing to flow within you. To not eat of the tree
of knowledge of good and evil was the set law, for
the knowledge of good and evil. The day Adam and
Eve partook of the tree of knowledge, then
agreement was broken, due to separation. God has
always had a plan for His covenants. The old
covenant concealed the new covenant. The new
covenant revealed the old covenant. For you to
look at the old covenant, you have to have knowledge
in the new covenant.
Ezekiel and Israel were lead into captivity so promptly
that they were not allowed to bury their deceased
loved ones. During the night God told Ezekiel in the
evening his wife would suffer a stroke and be
taken by God. Ezekiel was told by God not to mourn for
her death. Ezek 24:15- 17
God told Ezekiel to only go about with his daily tasks as
a priest. Ezek 24:18
The people of Israel ask Ezekiel why he was not
preparing proper funeral ceremonies for his
deceased wife's body. Ezekiel tells the people if they
do not repent to God, then their city, and loved
ones would be destroyed without proper burials as
Ezekiel had experienced . God says when this all
occurs you shall know by these signs, that I am your
God. Ezek 24:19-25
God exposes how religious bondage will have a
stronghold on Israel, by the marriage of Hosea.
Hosea the prophet was commanded by God to marry
Gomer who was a harlot. His marriage provides a
close resemblance to Israel's marriage to God, who
showed Israel was guilty of spiritual adultery.
Hos 3:1
God told Hosea to take Gomer in as his wife, in private
he always referred to her as Gomer. To the public,
she was known as the harlot.
Hosea's book is to show God's people that he never
gives up on us.
Religion portrays the image of what it defines as
godliness, but has no power in backing it up. It
thrives on the concept of attaining right standing with
God through works while downplaying what Jesus
has done for us. Unfortunately religion has caused
many people to actually turn away from God and
the promises contained in the Bible. Religion has been
responsible for so many deaths, destruction, and
strife among people. It is the reason why
denominations cannot get along, and it is what
provokes extremists to carry out suicide missions in the
name of God. Religion is the counterfeit of having a
true relationship with God. Jesus used every
opportunity to blast the religious leaders of His day
for carrying out vain traditions that meant nothing.
Matthew Chapter 23, where Jesus rebuked the
Pharisees for saying one thing but doing another and
for following blindly after the Law-based traditions
to only make the Pharisees to look good. Religion is
made up of man's ideas, interpretations, and
prejudices actions based on selfish desires, attempts to
control others, and a stubborn determination to be
right. Religion completely takes God out of the
equation and replaces Him with the god of "self" in
the form of self-effort, self-righteousness,
and self-gratification. This religion is exposed as Secular
Humanism, which is the belief that human morality
and self-fulfillment reigns without the need for a
belief in God. True Christianity is not a religion;
It is a relationship with Christ!
Now, more than ever before, people need to hear the
truth about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a
message of hope, not condemnation; liberty, not
religious bondage; grace, not self-reliance. Most of
the things we have grown up hearing about God are
completely incorrect! We have come to relate God
as an angry taskmaster who is waiting for us to mess
up, so He can strike us down. We have gotten so
far away from what Christianity really is about that we
have presented a picture of God that actually turns
people away from wanting to know Him. It is time for
us to turn back to the Gospel, and share the truth
about the love and grace of God with the whole world.
Religion has placed ideas that are simply wrong.
Carefully look at the religious misconceptions heard
and through research, discover the truth about what it
means to have a real relationship with Christ. It is
through a personal relationship, not religion, that we
are empowered to do the miracles Jesus did and more.
Everything you need in this life is found through
Christ. His grace is more than enough for you—
to achieve every aspect of your life.
Nicodemus was a member of the Jewish Sanhedrin
and a very wealthy and powerful man in Jerusalem.
John 3:1 he knew Christ was a teacher from God by
Christ's miracles and God being with him.
Nicodemus ask how a man accepts salvation?
Christ answered what his mission on earth was for.
Except a man be born again he cannot see the
kingdom of God. To be born again is to accept Christ
into your heart, allowing the Holy Spirit to change
your life in serving Christ. Religious mindsets cannot
comprehend this. Religious denominations have set
their own creeds into church member's minds,
with no biblical scripture to back the thought process at all.
New birth in salvation is essential to enter the kingdom
of God. Jn 3:5-8; Jn 3:3
Christ explains how God speaks to the believer who
has been born again through The Spirit.
As a natural man hears the wind, so the man born
again hears the voice of the spirit. Jn3:8
Christ told Nicodemus surely he should know this,
because he was one of those who taught the
people as a Rabbi. Jn 3:9
Nicodemus should have warned the people to steer
away from a religious mindset, instead focusing on
new life through the one true Messiah Jesus Christ
who gives us the promise of eternal life. Jn 3:15
Joseph of Arimathaea was also a member of the Jewish
Sanhedrin in Christ day who was a very wealthy
man in Jerusalem. He had the upmost respect,
knowing Christ was sent from God.
Joseph of Arimathaea was called a disciple of Jesus for
his acts in asking Pilot for Christ's body to be
buried in Joseph's personally owned tomb. Mk 15:43
Both of these wealthy men were members of the
Sanhedrin, which secretly followed Christ, for fear
of the Jews reactions in unbelief. Jn 19:38
The New Testament early elders and apostles showed
confession to salvation was for a sinner to ask
Christ into their life to be born again. Acts 4:12
This shows it takes a mature act of faith to believe in
the death and resurrection of Christ, by faith.
Baptism is then performed on the believer as a symbol
portraying a public confession of Christ's death,
burial, and resurrection to be born again.
Religious denominations have fought over proper
procedures of baptism since they were
established. Paul's testimony is an example of this.
I thank God that I baptized none of you, except the few.
1Corinthians 1:14
True salvation comes through accepting Christ in your heart.
No religious denomination nor rituals can be
performed for the proper acceptance of salvation.
Christ proved salvation was through His crucifixion
when he spoke to the thief beside him dying on the cross.
Lk 23:43
The thief crucified next to Christ was accepted into the
kingdom of God without a formal baptism, which
disproves what religious denominations have always
fought over. All the thief offered, was belief that
Jesus was the one true Messiah. This act of faith
allowed him to be with Christ in paradise.
Romans 7:25 (KJV)
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then
with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but
with the flesh the law of sin.
