Prayer for Health

 

Father, I am your child, and Jesus is Lord over my spirit, soul, and body. You are the supreme authority, a God of order. You have instituted other authority structures that will support healthy relationships and maintain harmony.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, and the believers know this full well. Lord, thank you for declaring your plans for me. Plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope, and a future.

Father, thank You for protecting me and my family, and for blessing us with our good health. Father, Your very breath and blood flows through us, nourishing us, so that we will grow up healthy in God, and robust in love.

Because You made me the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, I set the course of my life for obedience, abundance, wisdom, health, and for joy. I choose to renew my mind to your plans for a healthy lifestyle. You have abounded toward me in all prudence and wisdom.

I look to you to cause my thoughts to be agreeable to your will, that I may make healthy choices. Give me the courage to say no when it is in my best interest, according to your purpose and plan for my life. Thank You for turning away our eyes from beholding vanity, idols, idolatry, and restoring to us a vigorous lifestyle, staying healthy in honoring all Your ways.

I refuse to be wise in my own eyes, but I choose to fear you, and shun evil. This action will bring health to my body, and nourishment to my bones.

Father, I ask for the wisdom to walk in the path of order which is healthy, and wisdom for the proper fresh foods that will serve us in nourishing our body. Therefore, I give thoughts to my steps. Teach me knowledge and good judgment. My will with your help, Father God, is to choose to take my every day, ordinary life; my sleeping, eating, going to work, and walking around life, and place it before you as an offering. Embracing what you do for me, is the best thing I can do for you. Christ, the Messiah, will be magnified and receive glory and praise in this body of mine, and will be boldly exalted in me.

God is El Shaddai, God Almighty.(Ex 6:3) The God who is more than enough, and His intention is that His children enjoy good health, and that all may go well with them. My body is for the Lord. You and I are created triune beings; spirit, soul, and body.(1Thes 5:23) I thank You that I am prosperous and in good health, even as my soul prospers, and lives in victory.

We pray for the infilling of the Holy Spirit, divine health, the fruit of the recreated human spirit, and the gifts of deliverance from the Holy Spirit. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and I desire to be in good health.

Father, I give attention to Your words and incline my ear to Your sayings. I will not let them depart from my sight, but I will keep them in the midst of my heart, for they are life, success, healing, health to my whole body, and medicine to my flesh.(Prov. 4:20-22) I consent and submit to Your sayings. Thank You for hearing, and answering my prayers. Amen.

   Sickness has to bow on the authority of His name Jesus, and the power in His blood.
