Prayer for Students

Father, in Jesus name, I confess Your Word this day concerning education and training at school. As students, we seek the Lord. We meditate in The Word, and ask for Your favor to allow us, through the Holy Spirit, to discern and bless us with knowledge and skill in ALL learning and wisdom, better than anyone else.(Dan 1:17,20)

You are effectually at work in us, creating within us the power and desire to please You. We are the head, and not the tail, above and not beneath. We pray that we find favor, understanding, and high esteem, in the sight of our God, teachers, and classmates.(Gen 39:4)

We ask You give us wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in ALL fields of study we attempt to complete.(Jms 1:5) The memory of the just is blessed.(Prov 10:7) Through faith, we reflect the highest scores in the education system, to glorify Your name. Let the well-educated enquire of us on how we have such wisdom and understanding, never attaining their teachings.(Jn 7:15) We display the blessings of the Lord with our testimony for Your glory, praise, and honor.(Rev 12:11)

Father, thank You for giving us an appreciation for education, and helping us to understand that the source, and beginning of all knowledge comes from You.(Acts 4:13) Dispel negative thinking that comes around us as believers. Drive away gloom and doom from our presence. We have the appetite of the diligent, and we are abundantly supplied with educational resources.

Renew our mind, and emphasize our faith in God. Truth will always replace facts by faith. You have made plans for us that are good, and not for evil, to give us a future, and hope. We shall find the Lord when we seek Him. We shall look for Him earnestly. (Jer 29:11-13). Our thoughts are those of the steadily diligent, which only tend achievements. Thank You that we are growing in wisdom and knowledge. We ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will, bearing fruit in ALL our good works.

Father, we thank You for divine protection, since we dwell in the secret place of the Most High. We trust and find our refuge in You, and stand rooted and grounded in Your love.

We shall not be led astray by philosophies of men, and teaching that is contrary to truth. Lord God, You will contend with him who contends with your believers, and You will give safety to your children and put them at ease.(Isa 49:25) Thank you for supplying us the safety we need at school, for our learning abilities to advance the Kingdom of God toward the future, throughout the whole school system.

You are our shield and buckler, protecting us from attacks or threats. You have assigned angels to accompany, defend, surround, and preserve us in all our ways of obedience and service. Thank You for Your angels having charge over us.(Ps 91:11) We are rooted and established in Your love, which drives out fear. For if God is for us, who can be against us.(Rm 8:31)

We pray for the teachers, to be godly men and women of integrity. Give our teachers understanding hearts. Let grace, favor, and wisdom rest on us from the blessing, promoting us, in order that we may walk in the ways of Your devotion and righteousness, revering Your holy name always. For we know God is able.(Gen 18:14,Eph 3:20) For with God, ALL things are possible to the believer.(Job 42:2,Mt 19:26,Mk 9:23,Lk 1:37,Phil 4:13) Amen.

Deuteronomy 28:1,2,13 (KJV)1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. 13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

1 Kings 4:29 (KJV)29 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

Psalm 91:1-11 (KJV)1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
